Communication from the Headteacher,

Ms Sarah White

End of year letter

Written the 01 July 2015

My final hope of the term is that your children find rest and recuperation in the holidays so as to energise them for next year.

As I reflect on a term packed with music, drama, sports, outdoor education and more, I rejoice in the diversity of learning children experience at BJAB. My aim has been to know each child so that I can help to enrich their minds and lives. I hope my colleagues and I have made an indelible impression on them so they start life with strong values, a solid foundation and the kind of enquiring minds and enthusiasm for learning that an international education should bring.

I have been overwhelmed by your words and gifts in the last two days and any words of thanks risk inadequacy. However, once again, I must thank the wonderful members of the PTA, who organised the fun-filled event last evening. Raj and Lucie, with all who attended, gave me a fitting send-off and I was thrilled that so many people were there. The generosity of the parents who contributed to my beautiful piece of jewellery was quite unexpected. The ring finger on my right hand will be a constant reminder of my wonderful time at BJAB and in Belgium.

I will remember my BJAB days with great affection and I am sure I leave the school in a healthy position. I look forward to hearing of future successes.
