The Admissions Officer will oversee the admission process from enquiry to settling, managing both local and international enquiries with professionalism and efficiency to convert them into successful applications. Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the admissions process from first enquiry to the pupil’s arrival at the school, ensuring that it delivers excellent, warm, effective, and timely professional customer service
  • Build and maintain a relationship with prospective families, providing excellent communication and an efficient, clear process for them
  • Prepare and conduct tours of the school sites, meet and greet visitors, ensuring that all aspects of a visit provide an excellent first impression and customer experience
  • Organise and implement open days and informational events, following up visits and canvassing feedback in order to maximize conversion of visits to applications
  • Input data provided on Application Forms into management information system, organize assessment sessions, taster days and visits for prospective students
  • Contact candidates’ current schools for confidential references and safeguarding information, chase any missing documents, ensuring all relevant information is uploaded to the school MIS
  • Liaise with colleagues to prepare and align the school’s marketing plans to support admissions goals, analyze admissions data to prepare regular reports for school stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic plans to improve admissions processes, meet intake goals and support the expansion into Senior School
  • Support school events where necessary, occasionally on weekends or during the evenings
  • Work together with the administrative team to maintain front office presence where necessary

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent IT skills and mastery of Microsoft Suite; capacity to learn iSAMS Admissions Module
  • Experience working within a school not necessary but preferable
  • Native or near-native mastery of English; ability to communicate in French not necessary but preferable
  • Legal working and residential permission in Belgium (no visa sponsorship is available for this role)
